Okay so a little bit about me...

I'm a Yorkshire girl, born and bred, where I currently live with my husband and two kids. My passion for creativity has always been in my heart and has been a prominent feature throughout my school life, personal life and work experience. Design is all around in everyday experiences, you'll be sure to catch me eyeing the layout design of a menu whilst we're at a cafe or spotting the poor grammar on a poster for an event - it's the nature of being a designer - you know and understand the importance of attention to detail. That's why I believe good design can not only bring joy and pleasure but can be influential and critical in great communication and marketing. With over 7 years working for one of the UK's largest retailers, Asda, you can be sure to know I've had experience working on an array of design outputs and you can trust me to take your brief to completion with passion and great care.

Owner of Siobhans Creative Studio where I supply freelancing services across the UK. As a multi-disciplined artworker I provide services to clients across an array of outputs including both digital and print based designs.

Internal Artworker in Asdas colleague communication team responsible for artworking all communications to our 170,000 colleagues. As internal brand coordinator I was brand ambassador for the internal branding ensuring it is up to date and adhered to across the business. Communication channels covered both print and digital design. Digital designs including our regular bulletin emails, intranet, digital screens and digital magazines. Print channels covering monthly posters, newsletters and booklets. Supporting wider teams such as our events team where I support in creating branding, logos and event assets for events such as Asda Pride, Our Asda Get Together, Proud to be Asda Awards and Our Big Celebration.

Working alongside the Marketing Manager I was responsible for the creation of external communication campaigns including brochures, e-marketing, leaflets and pull up banners, ensuring that artwork provided was within deadlines and budget requirements. Working within one of the largest multi-metal stakeholders in the UK I had experience working in a bustling sector. Working on Artwork briefs for several sectors at one time allowed me to quickly develop a brief as required whilst still creating highly polished work.

Working as the sole Print & Design Officer for the North West , Yorkshire & Humber I was responsible for MP's, Candidates, Councillors and constituencies artwork. Ensuring all design was progressed in time and in an efficient manner. Confidently responding to requests with minimal supervision and support. Designing for a Political Party has great responsibility and requires an understanding that any artwork represents the party or MP and any errors can have huge implications. I artworked literature such as campaign leaflets, posters, newsletters and event material.
